The PATH to Care Center**
The PATH to Care center is the first place to go if you or a loved on is impacted by sexual violence. They provides confidential support for students, staff and faculty who have experienced gendered violence, including: sexual harassment, dating and intimate partner violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sexual exploitation. The PATH to Care Center also servea those harmed by a UC Berkeley affiliate or anyone supporting a UC Berkeley affiliate impacted by sexual violence. Confidential advocates bring a non-judgmental, caring approach to exploring options, rights, and resources.
Social Services Counseling, University Health Services (students)**
Social Services provides therapy for individuals recovering from trauma due to sexual violence. They strive to provide a safe environment for supportive, non-judgmental counseling, advocacy, resources and referral information for students who have experienced sexual violence, including unwanted or coerced sexual behavior, harassment (cyber assaults), stalking, and rape. Social Services is a confidential campus resource.
Ombuds Office for Students and Postdoctoral Employees**
If you wish assistance sorting through a campus-related conflict or concern, please contact us. The Ombudsperson will listen to your concerns, serve as a sounding board, discuss your options with you, and help you get a new perspective and determine the next steps to take. They are a confidential resource for conflict resolution.
Be Well at Work Faculty/Staff Health Programs**
Be Well at Work can support staff and faculty survivors and respondents. They provide no-cost confidential counseling and referrals for a variety of mental health issues and other factors that may impact an individual in the workplace. It is also the employee assistance program for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Staff Ombuds Office**
The Staff Ombuds Office is an independent department that provides strictly confidential, impartial and informal conflict resolution and problem-solving services for all Staff, Non-Senate Academics, and Faculty who perform management functions.
